Hi there!

United Way of Franklin County is excited about our annual Coats for Kids drive! For the last 31 years, this program has helped keep students in our community warm by collecting and distributing new and gently used winter coats.

We implemented some changes during the pandemic with both students and community members in mind. Instead of collecting, cleaning, and distributing coats, UWFC is holding a Facebook Fundraiser to collect monetary donations. The proceeds of this campaign will help us purchase new coats for all students in need! The kids were so excited to get brand new coats!

Our mission is to positively impact the lives of those in our community by assessing needs, uniting partner organizations, agencies, and volunteers and devoting our financial resources and efforts to the most critical needs.

We extended our outreach into Ripley County last year and are excited to share that Coats for Kids will be given to students in both Franklin County and Ripley County!

We are just starting this project and anticipate the need to be high in our community. We are looking for a corporate sponsor to help us fund Coats for Kids. We know this would make such a big impact in our community and we’d love to highlight this partnership locally.
Please let me know if you have any questions or feel free to reach out to our Executive Director, Kelly Bulmer.

Thank you!
